I visited Burford on the 1st of October just as red leaves were starting to grow over the buildings and everything was starting to look like autumn.
Burford is right on the edge of the Cotswolds towards the Oxford side, twenty minutes from where I live. It’s tiny – the main high street has just a few shops and pubs, all of which look like they should be on the front of a postcard.
I can’t help but laugh at how middle class it is – there’s one shop solely selling brushes and one for ties. The overall winner has to be the one for fly fishing and luxury dog products (a strange combo)… I don’t know about you but they ARE the main things I nip to town for 😉
Here are my photos from the day. Enjoy!
