India will forever be one of my favourite destinations in Asia. Despite the bad reputation it sometimes receives, there are plenty of great places in India for solo female travellers such as Jaipur, Pushkar, McLeod Ganj, Amristar and Pondicherry. 

I’ve now been twice and still barely scratched the surface. There’s so much diversity in India from the snowy Himalayas to the colourful mega cities and the beaches and backwaters. I’d visit again and again just to eat as much Indian food as possible!
