Budget travel resources
I travel on a budget because a) I’m not flushed with cash and b) I love backpack life and hostels for the opportunity to meet people from all over the world.
Even when I lived in London, my high cost of living meant my mini breaks needed to be cheap. After I left traditional employment for a life working while travelling, money got even tighter!
I don’t believe that solo travel should be more expensive and, thanks to hostels, public transport and work exchange programmes like Workaway and Worldpackers, it usually it isn’t!
