I first visited Indonesia as a backpacker and returned to live there temporarily while working online. During my first trip, I spent 2 weeks in Bali and during my second, I went further afield to Java Island. I visited Yogyakarta in order to visit Borobudur temple site and fell in love with the city’s food and street art.

Next time I return to Asia, I’d love to see more of Java Island as well as the 7,000+ other Indonesia islands which are still on my Southeast Asia bucket list.
